Foreign Trade

In actual business, for bulk bulk commodities, such as agricultural and sideline products and industrial and mining products, it is difficult to strictly control the quantity of shipment because of the characteristics of goods and the reason of loading and pportation.

In addition, due to changes in the supply of goods, processing conditions and so on, the actual quantity and the quantity stipulated in the contract are often up and down.

For such pactions, in order to facilitate the seller to perform the contract, the More or Less Clause is usually stipulated in the contract, that is, the quantity of delivery can be increased or reduced within a certain range.

The commonly used method is the percentage of allowable overloading.

For example, 20000 meters, the seller can overflow 5%.

In the manner of payment by letter of credit, in accordance with the uniform customs and Practice for documentary credits, there is a 5% increase or decrease in the amount expressed only in units of weights and measures when the amount is not greater than that stipulated in the letter of credit.

If there is a word "approximately" in quantity, there will be a 10% increase or decrease.
