Yangtze River Delta Region Focuses On Textile, Dyeing And Other Enterprise Clusters.

The Ministry of ecology and environment recently issued a joint action plan for tackling air pollution in the Yangtze River Delta region in autumn and winter with the relevant departments and relevant provincial (city) governments. It is clear that the objective of improving air quality in the autumn and winter of the Yangtze River Delta region in the next two years is: the average concentration of PM2.5 decreased by 2% compared to the same period last year, and the number of heavy and above pollution days decreased by 2% compared to the same period last year.


The average concentration of PM2.5 in the Yangtze River Delta in autumn and winter is about 1.8 times that of other seasons. The number of heavy pollution days is more than 90% of the whole year. The key to improving the air quality is in autumn and winter. The plan clearly states that the Yangtze River Delta region, including 41 cities of Shanghai and Nanjing, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Shaoxing, will adjust and optimize the industrial structure, speed up the adjustment of the energy structure, actively adjust the transport structure, optimize the land readjusting structure, effectively deal with heavy pollution weather, and strengthen basic capacity building.


The plan puts forward that all localities should focus on fine chemicals, textile printing and dyeing, packaging and printing, furniture, wood-based panels, rubber products and other business clusters, and further determine the location, scale and layout of industrial development. Before the end of October 2019, according to the overall requirements of "a number of benchmarking construction, upgrading, upgrading, batch optimization, integration, elimination and withdrawal", a comprehensive improvement plan is formulated, and specific management tasks are put forward, unified standards and timetables, and the quality of industrial development and the level of environmental protection management are improved.
