Large Scale Production Of Masks In Ethiopia To Solve The Huge Demand Gap

According to Ethiopia Fang Na broadcasting company reported on June 10th, in response to the new crown crisis, Ethiopia textile enterprise plans to produce 5 million 500 thousand masks on the day to make up for the demand gap.

It is reported that many industrial parks in Ethiopia already have the production capacity of masks, such as the daily output of 10 thousand masks in the Awasa Industrial Park, and the proposed daily production will be increased to 50 thousand. The Ethiopia government has recently mobilized 67 textile companies to launch a mass production mask production line in recent days, hoping to meet the demand of local masks to achieve external exports.

The newly diagnosed cases in Ethiopia have been increasing rapidly. The government has taken strong measures to require people to wear masks when traveling. Meanwhile, the Ministry of health of Ethiopia said that the demand for medical masks in Ethiopia's medical institutions will reach 130 million in the next 4 months. Only a large number of production masks can solve the huge demand gap in Ethiopia.
